Nov 18, 2008 November 17th 2008 Stratford-on-Avon District Council has awarded £8,395 towards the capital costs of setting up Life Well Link. We are very grateful for their support.

Oct 9, 2008 Donna Barker, the ex mayor of Stratford paid us a visit on Wednesday 1st of October. She came to present us with a cheque which was part of the money she had raised during her term in office as Mayor last year. We were very grateful for her generosity and also her recognition of the work we do here at Life Well Link.

Oct 9, 2008 Our market stall on Friday the 12th of September was very successful despite the weather! It was interesting to meet lots of different people with varying degrees of problems, and it was a good opportunity to let everyone we met, know about our new service and how we could help them.

Sep 11, 2008 Monday 08/09/08 On Friday, September 12th, Life Well Link will be operating from a stall in Stratford Market. We will be there from 9am until 4pm . So if you need any information about any serious illness, come and see us. Alternately, if you feel you need more emotional support or just want to talk to someone confidentially, our drop in centre, which is based in Stratford Health care building, will also be open for you to visit. It is open from 10am to 4pm.. Look forward to seeing you there.

Jul 3, 2008 Carers Week was from 9-15th June. Here at Life Well Link we wanted to raise awareness of the role of carers and celebrate the contribution that they make, every day of the year. Life Well Link staff organised and held 2 cofee and information mornings, and all the carers that visited were treated to coffee, homemade cake and a relaxing massage. They were also given the opportunity to talk to other carers and our experienced staff here at Life Well Link. Ian Harris from South Warwickshire Carers Support Service was also on hand to chat to anyone who had any questions or queries. Many of our visitors spent some time browsing through our extensive range of leaflets and booklets, which they found very useful. On Friday the 13th June, Stratford Upon Avon's Mayor, Joyce Taylor visited Life Well Link and spent the morning chatting to many of the carers about their different situations and problems they face every day.
